The Geek Tree has a long and storied history at Nuketown. Beginning with a humble 4-foot tree back in the late 1990s, the Geek Tree is now a 9-foot-tall (albeit narrow) tree packed with ornaments from dozens of movies, TV shows, books, and other geeky inspirations.
While I’ve spent a fair amount of time discussing the tree and its iterations, I haven’t really delved into the ornaments that make up the tree. This month I’m looking to change that by reviewing 31 different ornaments. Some of them are my personal favorites, some are inherited, some are awful ornaments that nonetheless still have a place on the tree (if for no other reason than to confound folks who stop by to check out the tree).
This page will serve as the index for the project, so stop back to see the progress I’ve made.
