The home of the Prometheus Awards, given annually to the best in libertarian science fiction. It also publishes a quarterly newsletter called Prometheus. Great organization, but its web site is profoundly underwhelming.

Antipodean prides itself on flipping the minds of its readers through thoughtful short-short stories written by Australian writers. The webzine aims to show the world that there are such creatures as Australian writers, while also expanding minds.

The science fiction organization for the greater Philadelphia region. PSFS holds monthly meetings as well as PhilCon, its annual convention.

Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America

The SFWA is America's best known association for writers in the science fiction and fantasy genres. The site includes information about the association's annual Nebula Awards, information about joining the group, recommended reading lists, and a member web site directory.

Planet Magazine is a speculative fiction webzine that's been published regularly since 1994. Originally published quarterly, the blog switched to an ad hoc blog format in 2004.

Savage Heroes

Savage Heroes is an unofficial fan site for Savage Worlds packed full of resources for the fun, fast and furious role-playing game. Of particular note is the "Conversions" section, which offers dozens of system conversions for everything from Alternity to Crimson Skies to Fading Suns.

There's also the exceedingly useful Savage Beasts fan supplement containing 64 pages worth of monstrous goodness for Savage Worlds and an "Adventures" section with a two dozen-odd adventures, rule supplement and errata.

System47 Star Trek Screen Saver

System47 is a screensaver that simulates the famous LCARS computer interface from Star Trek: The Next Generation and its successors. Diagnostic screens run showing the layout inside the Enterprise-E while scans display information about astronomical phenomenon. It's extremely well done, and perfect for anyone waxing nostalgic about the good ol'days of Star Trek. Window XP and Mac versions (up to Tiger) are available, but unfortunately it doesn't run on Mac OS X Leopard.

Reason

The web site for the libertarian magazine Reason carries on the tradition of its print counterpart with daily doses of liberty-loving commentary. The web site feature full-length articles, while it's companion Hit and Run blog offers breaking news and commentary from a libertarian perspective.

Quantum Muse

Presently on hiatus, the long-running Quantum Muse webzine publishes an eclectic mix of science fiction, fantasy and horror short fiction, with occasional doses of uncategorizable fiction mixed in.
