#RPGaDay2019

RPG a Day is an annual celebration of role-playing games in which bloggers, podcasters, vidcasts, and streams come together to talk about the hobby. Nuketown participated in 2017 and 2018. With 2019, they’ve changed the format up a bit. Instead of single sentence prompts for each day, they’ve gone with a single word.

This Nuketown page serves as the collection point for those posts, but you can also check out the site’s #RPGaDay2019 category.

On the one hand, this is liberating because we have so many options to choose from. On the other, the narrower scope of previous years made coming up with a post a lot easier.

Adding to the challenge this year is the fact that this is the third year I’ve participated in #RPGaDay … and many of the best stories have already been told.

The answer, of course, is clear … come up with some new stories.

Update – 9/2/2022: I started this particular RPGaDay project in August 2019, but struggled with the single word prompts. I did write a bunch of unpublished posts though, so I’m going back, dusting them off, and adding them to Nuketown. If nothing else, they provide a view of where my head was at in 2019.
