MepaCon, northeastern Pennsylvania's biggest gaming convention, is being held April 8-10, 2005 at the Clarion Hotel in Scranton, Pa.

Role-playing game sessions planned include Dungeons & Dragons, Call of Cthulhu, Battletech, Warhammer, Paranoia and the infamous "Drow" events as well as the RPGA's Living Greyhawk, Living Arcanis, Living Force, and Mark of Heroes. Miniatures events include Warhammer, Mechwarrior and HeroClix.

Tournaments planned for the con include Munchkinpalooza, Rio Grand Games, and Magic: The Gathering, while a full-slate of Steve Jackson Games offerings will be available, including Munchkin, Chez Geek, Frag, GURPS, In Nomine and more.

The con's special guest will be CJ Henderson. Special events include "A Weekend in the Legend of the Shining Jewel" as well as Vampire and Star Wars LARPS by Nightfall Productions. Rounding out the con are open gaming, demos, charity fundraisers, game auction, raffle and a vendor room.
