According to the Morning Call, Apple is going to be opening an official Apple Store in the new upscale addition to the Lehigh Valley Mall. This means we'll no longer have to trek to Bridgewater, N.J. for our Mac and iPod goodness.

I went to DoubleClick once about 10 years ago, when I was still working for the Pocono Record. I wasn't overly impressed then, though granted that was just around the time of the iMac revolution, so perhaps they've improved since then. I was never particularly compelled to find out.
I've always taken my Macs to the Apple Stores for servicing, and while the Bridgewater Apple Store is underwhelming (it's just not big enough) the one at Short Hills rocks -- great selection and plenty of room to move around. I'm hoping the Lehigh Valley Mall store is more like the latter than the former.
