The Voice of the Revolution is a podcast about independent role-playing games. The podcast is produced by Indie Press Revolution, the publishing company that's taken on the task of selling many of the games that were spawned by The Forge role-playing game creation forum.

Indie games distinguish themselves from more mainstream offerings like those by Wizards of the Coast or White Wolf by actively experimenting with new role-playing ideas and formats, from troupe-like adventuring parties to game-masterless sessions. Examples include the Dogs in the Vineyard (featuring Morman gunslingers maintaining peace and law on the frontier) My Life with Master (better that you just read up on that one yourself) and The Shab-al-Hiri Roach (in which academics struggle with the manipulations of a soul-eating telepathic insect )
