Poisons, critical hits and environmental wonders await you at Bastian Press' $5 clearance sale. They ran this sale last year, and I picked up a bunch of cool stuff, including Pale Designs: A Poisoner's Handbook (which my players remain terrified of to this day; read my review), the Torn Asunder: Critical Hits book (which we continue to use to occasional horrifying effect; read my review) and the three environmental books, Into the Blue, Into the Green and Into the Dark. These last three weren't everything I'd hoped for -- I was wishing for more environment specific rules, but they were definitely worth getting at $5 a pop.

This time around I'm looking at picking up Guildcraft and augmenting the poisoners book with Alchemy & Herbalists, both of which could prove very useful in my current Dark City urban fantasy campaign.
