Yeah, it was a lot of fun -- I can't wait to do it again next year.
The ear ache turned out to be an inner ear infection, and as an added bonus we got a diagnosis of pink eye! So he's on antibiotics now, which seem to be helping (he just slept through the night two days running -- hoody freaking hoo!)
His ear infections have been infrequent, so I don't think we'll have to worry about tubes, though his twin cousin (the one who's two weeks older than him) had to get them, so I know what a challenge those can be (esp. with bathes and making sure their ears don't get wet).
