Thanks for the heads-up. I was aware of that limit, but hadn't thought of the hack to make the direct link go through the FeedBurner URL. My plan had been to download my raw log files, and then write a script to parse it for partial and complete downloads based on the total file size of the MP3. Your way sounds a lot easier. :)
Numbers I've heard for podcast subscribers vs. direct downloaders put subscribers at 20-50 percent of total downloads, so yeah, there's a huge variance there.
I haven't had a chance to start crunching the direct download numbers yet, but FeedBurner's telling me I've got 81 downloads so far for Radio Active #66 via the feed.
As for a voice line, I think I'm going to have to look into getting one of those...
