Writing up my adventure notes for the Star Wars: Saga Edition playtest we did was what got me thinking about this. I was able to put the entire adventure together in three pages and even fit all my NPC statblocks that fit on a single page!
So yeah, I think Star Wars is a good fit for this approach, particularly saga edition since NPC and PC creation is so much faster; I think it took me about 15 minutes to create a 4th level PC in that game, five to make the NPCs. I'd be lucky to create a character that fast for D&D even using HeroForge.
