If I were Batman, what I would do is access and tamper with the voting machines so that they favor my enemy. Then when he's elected, I'd sue and have the machines examined, getting my enemy thrown out of office.
This would both discredit the electronic voting and my enemy all at the same time. And of course anyone who would speculate that I would be behind the incident would be a "crazy conspiracy theorist"! Everybody wins! :)
