This newest iteration of the Lovgate worm is really nasty -- when it infects a Windows-based machine, it replaces all of the executable files (the files that make your applications run) with copies of itself. That renders the computer effectively useless. Read the full story.

Sick and Tired (Again)

I've got a cold again. It's the same cold I get every time I get sick, only this time its during the summer, which makes it all that much worse. It's one thing to be sick during the other seasons, when it can be rainy, snowing and generally dreary, and thus, you don't feel like you're missing anything. But during the summer, well, when it's sunny and 90 out, it makes you feel all the more miserable for not being able to go outside. But what's really different this time around is Jordan. She's a toddler now -- 15 months and counting -- and she's doesn't get things like colds.
