Not to long ago, there was an episode of King of Queens in which one of the main characters was horrified to learn that his TiVo thought he was gay.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course, but he wasn't gay. And his TiVo kept thinking he was, and kept serving him up the appropriate programming. The episode was inspired by a real-life occurrence, and there's an amusing story about it in the Wall Street Journal.

I'm beginning to grasp what that guy went through. Because Amazon.com's starting to think I'm a woman. Or at least, that I'm very interested in female things.
